Emergency Services 24H

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Emergency Services 24H collects when you submit a service request, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted. Last updated August 16, 2026.

The short version

We collect the details you type into a service request. We pass those details to licensed contractors in our network who cover your ZIP code, so they can contact you about the job. They contact you directly. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it for anything other than connecting you with a contractor and improving the service.

Who we are

Emergency Services 24H operates emergency-services24h.com. We are a referral service: we match homeowners with independent contractors. We do not employ technicians and we do not perform repair work. The contractor who contacts you is a separate business with its own privacy practices.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a service request we collect your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service category you selected, and anything you write in the description field. Every one of these is needed to route the request: a contractor cannot quote a job without knowing what failed and where.

Information collected automatically

We record the page you submitted from and any campaign parameters in the URL, so we can tell which pages actually help people. If analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies and collects device, browser and approximate location data. That data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

How we use it

  • To match your request to contractors licensed for that trade in your area
  • To contact you about the request, including by phone, text and email
  • To follow up on whether the contractor reached you and whether the job was handled
  • To detect spam and abusive submissions
  • To understand which pages generate genuine requests, in aggregate

Who we share it with

Contractors in our network. This is the point of the service. Your name, contact details, ZIP code and job description are shared with one or more licensed contractors so they can quote the work. We are compensated by contractors for these referrals. That compensation does not change what you pay and does not change the safety guidance published on this site.

Service providers. Our form processor stores submissions on our behalf. Our host serves the site. These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.

Legal. We will disclose information where required by law, or to protect someone's safety.

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising networks.

Calls and texts

By submitting a request you give express written consent for Emergency Services 24H and the contractors we match you with to contact you at the number you provided, including by automated dialing system, prerecorded message and text. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out of texts from that sender, or tell the caller to place you on their do-not-call list. To have us stop contacting you entirely, email the address below.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone. To exercise them, email privacy@emergency-services24h.com from the address on the request, or use the contact page.

One limit worth stating plainly: once a request has been passed to a contractor, we can delete our copy but we cannot delete theirs. You would need to ask that contractor directly.

How long we keep it

Service requests are retained for 24 months so we can resolve disputes about whether a job was handled, then deleted. Analytics data follows the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Security

Submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored by our form processor under their security controls. No system is perfectly secure; do not include payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers in the description field. No contractor needs them to quote a job.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.

This is a published policy, not legal advice

This page describes our actual practices. It is not legal advice, and it does not create rights beyond those the law already gives you. If you are a business copying this structure, have your own counsel review it against the states you operate in.
